Torque Spec Golf started as a two-bay fitting room above a bike shop in downtown Providence, built on one rule: no recommendation leaves the building unless it's traced back to a torque reading, not a guess about how a shaft "should" feel. That meant investing early in dedicated torque and frequency measurement equipment most shops skip, rather than relying on the flex letter printed on the shaft.
Eleven years later, we've logged torque and release data on more than six thousand eight hundred club builds, from once-a-month weekend players to competitive amateurs prepping for state qualifiers.
