Shaft Torque
We test low, mid, and high-torque shafts against your tempo to find the pairing that squares the face at the moment you actually deliver it.
Loft & Face Angle
Adjustable hosels let us dial loft in half-degree steps once torque is settled, so launch conditions are tuned around a release that's already repeatable.
Head Design & MOI
Moment of inertia determines how forgiving a head is on off-center strikes. We pair MOI to the dispersion pattern your torque-matched shaft is already producing.
Length
A shorter, better-controlled driver frequently outperforms a longer one on center-strike percentage, which usually beats a few extra yards of theoretical distance.
Center of Gravity
CG location shapes launch and spin independent of loft. We adjust it after torque, so it's correcting for spin, not masking a release timing issue.
Grip Size
An oversized or undersized grip changes hand action through impact, which can quietly add to or cancel out a torque mismatch. We check it on every fitting.
What a Torque-Matched Driver Fitting Can Fix
The Slice
An open face at impact is often read as a swing-path issue, but a shaft that's too high-torque for your tempo can leave the face open even with a sound path. Matching torque frequently tightens this before mechanics are ever touched.
The Hook
The opposite mismatch — low torque paired with a slower, smoother tempo — can close the face past square before impact. Raising torque to match your release often straightens this out.
Inconsistent Strike Location
